PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

It is a matter of pride and privilege for me that Shikshayatan Foundation, which originated as Marwari Balika Vidyalaya in 1920 in the old Burrabazar area in Calcutta and later on expanded, has completed a glorious hundred years.
The original Trust, founded by the Birla Forefathers, later on got associated with several renowned Social Workers, particularly Shri Sitaramji and Shri Bhagirathji Kanoria, who expanded the Organisation to include a modern School and College on Lord Sinha Road.
The name of the Trust was formally changed in 2010 and it has been constantly expanding its activities over the years, It already has new ideas and proposes to further activities
On this glorious occasion I want to compliment and thank the Teachers, the Principal and Managerial staff of the Trust for establishing outstanding academic and cultural standards for all the students being taught
