      Cherished Legacy.

Just the name Shri Shikshayatan takes me on memory trips... Every cherished memories stay in my mind and nothing slips.... My school is my pride , my identity, my happy place.... Here ,I have fondest memories which nothing can replace.... Our canteen , our playground and of course our swimming pool ... These were our hangouts and enjoying was our only rule.... Our teachers, our mentors were always there to support us ... Our go to person, our guide, always ready to protect us .... Participating in each and every occasion was our passion .... Making our teachers proud and feel good was our mission... Today my school marks 100 years of brilliance.... Giving millions of children their true existence... May the light of our institution always shine .... It’s everyone’s prayer as well as mine ....

      Grateful Growth.

The journey initiated at Shri Shikshayatan School continues till today. As a timid unpopular seven year old, ready to take the stage, growing up was truly a roller coaster. When I look back, I feel grateful for every bit of this experience. Receiving First prize in academics, playing basketball and kabaddi, attending swimming classes are some of my best memories.

      Timeless Memories.

It was before the era of Facebook and Instagram. School back then meant chalk and blackboards, brown-paper-covered exercise books, plastic pencil-cases, and hurriedly jotted notes. We did miss out on taking selfies with our teachers. But that doesn’t mean our school days were any less ‘happening’! There were simple moments of happiness, which had seemed insignificant then.
We weren’t allowed to carry mobiles to school in our time. Difficult as it may seem to survive nowadays without being ‘online’, we used to do perfectly well without them. We had a whole world of books to enjoy. In free periods, the library with its vast collection of storybooks used to be our usual address. The school grounds bore testimony to numerous squabbles, scratched knees and lost frisbees.
I firmly feel that none of us could have achieved anything without the contribution of our teachers. To others they may be just teachers, but to me, they are all heroes. Its only because of them that the school has always excelled everywhere, be it in academics, sports, or fine arts.
