The Journey of Calcutta Business School
The Shikshayatan Foundation started a residential Business Management School viz. Calcutta Business School (CBS) in July, 2008 offering AICTE approved 2 Years fully residential Post- Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and several Executive Business Programs. The school modeled on some of the top ranking Business School in the world, is located on a sprawling 15 acres fully residential, eco-friendly and intelligent campus on the outskirt of Kolkata.
CBS is considered as one of the top autonomous Business Management Institutes. Presently, CBS has introduced PGDM for Working Executives, and BBA in Business Analytics, numerous Management Development Programmes and various contemporary Certificate Courses.
The Institute is governed by reputed industrialists, business leaders and eminent academicians with Shree S. K. Birla as the Chairman.

background with Ph.D. Degrees along with significant industry experience.
CBS has two Advisory Boards comprising highly reputed academicians and business stalwarts who are continuously guiding and nurturing the Institute on academic excellence and industry- oriented programmes.
The Management Development and Research Cell (MDRC) at CBS has one of the best facilities for corporate training in India with a dedicated infrastructure consisting of an academic complex, three star equivalent residential facilities, 24x7 access to library and knowledge resources, strong digital infrastructure, lounge facilities, executive dining facilities and access to various recreational facilities including gymnasium.
CBS MDRC infrastructure is equipped to provide training to 200 or more Executives Trainees simultaneously.
